"Chiefisms" Coined by the Chief - Poker Phrases
A Single Rack of (100) One-Dollar Chips: "One Rack of Low Society"
(In the Movie "Rounders," 100 Black Chips was a Rack of High Society)
Online Poker Acronyms
CtV - Cue the Violins:
"Cue the Violins" or CtV should be used when an opponent is whining.
TP - That's Poker:
"That's Poker" can be used as a graceful way to exit the table when you've lost.
Or, it can be used if you have inflicted a bad beat on someone.
AMiIC - Ask Me if I Care?:
"Ask Me if I Care" is a good term if you are on tilt. You can attempt to cut-off conversation or act disinterested with this phrase.
VaaP - Verb and a Pronoun:
This really only has ONE meaning, since cursing is not allowed on these sites.
OBaL - "Outta Be a Law" - Comes in handy when you are a victim of a bad beat.
Feel free to Use Them, even though I'm no Dan Rather
Chief.
